On June 19th, the two vertical drum bag condensate turbine pumps (vertical drum bag condensate pumps) of Unit 2 of the Gongyi project were successfully lifted into place.
The LTDN condensate water pump is a vertical, drum bag structure with a pump body size (length, diameter) of 9.55 × Φ 1.8m, a net weight of about 15t, a 6-stage impeller type, a rated speed of 1480r/min, and a flow rate of 1495t/h. It is one of the important auxiliary mechanical equipment in the operation of the power plant. Two pumps are arranged in parallel in the wet pump pit near the -3.6m condenser hot well.
Based on the relatively narrow working conditions of the construction site, the project department's steam turbine pipeline professional work area has formulated detailed technical plans and safety measures. Prior to lifting, personnel were organized to conduct detailed technical and safety briefings, and the two condensate water pumps were successfully lifted into place using a combination of crane hooks in the steam turbine room, creating conditions for the installation of auxiliary pipelines in the next step.
